What Are The Three Most Important Aspects of SEO?
It's not what you think. It's not about tactics. It's what you do that matters!
By Dirk Johnson
People in the SEO world
love to argue. One of the things they argue about is this: What aspects of
search engine optimization are the most important?
They will discuss (or
rather, argue about) the importance of title tags, page content, links, and
more. Blah blah blah.
Of course, those things
are all important as TACTICS, but all of those are actually secondary in
importance to ACTION.
ACTION is EVERYTHING!
To a small business owner
with a website, the most important three things about SEO are these:
1) You
2) Doing something
3) Right
This is especially true
for music lesson studio owners, where the competition can be weak. Often, ANY
correct action that you take regarding your search engine optimization can turn
out to be very effective.
However, doing nothing
gets you nothing, or worse, you
even might lose the rankings that you have! For more info on that, see the post

Your New Student Inquiries Suddenly Slow Down?
Don’t Get Caught Up In the Minutiae
SEO is a very “gray”
craft. Nothing is black and white.
It’s easy to get caught up
in the endless micro-arguments that swirl around this subject. From experience,
I am advising you to save time and ignore the deep-dive details.
What’s important is
simple. Just do SOMETHING and do it RIGHT, and
creating one well-built landing page is a good start.
I recently wrote this blog
post: “Git
'er Done! – How To Slay Your SEO Funk”, so I am not going to re-cover that
material. Check it out.
If you need to know WHAT
to do, then all of that is covered in detail in the
80 page guidebook:
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) For
Private Music Teachers.
This is Not That Hard, Really
Folks, SEO is not rocket
science. In fact, it is very straightforward. There is no need to worry
about the minutiae aspects of SEO tactics.
What is most important is YOU doing something now. That might be you, or you having someone do it.
Again, please feel free to
email me with questions, or I’d be glad to take a quick look at your website
with respect to your SEO issues. There’s no cost for that.
Thanks!
